* MEET AND GREETS FOR APPROVED APPLICANTS ONLY *Meet Bailey ❤️Bailey is a gentle soul with an unfortunate past. She came into care underweight and under-socialized, she's slowly learning to trust again and would love to do that with the right family. She's looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. While she's still getting used to handling, she's showing enthusiasm for treats-a promising step in building a bond with her future family. A home with direct access to a secure, fenced backyard would help ease her transition as she learns to walk on leash and explore the outside world. Because Bailey can be sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, a quiet, adult only home with experienced adopters familiar with fearful dogs will give her the best chance to thrive. With time, compassion, and a little extra TLC, Bailey has all the makings of a deeply loyal and loving companion.If you have the time, love and patience to welcome Bailey into your home, we urge you to fill out an application.*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!Do you think you could be Bailey's person? Here are some ways to find out:1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
