0829 Arya

My story

Arya is fostered in Henderson, KY Arya is a stunningly beautiful female, blue merle Australian Shepherd.  She is just over a year and spent a large part of her life in a crate. Arya was purchased as a small puppy and her prior owner worked a significant amount of time. Naturally, she started to exhibit some separation issues and so her owner reached out to us for help.  As with any young aussie in her situation, she has a lot of pent up energy and very few manners.  Arya's foster family has been working diligently on manners and a consistent schedule. Arya LOVES to play ball and is now able to channel her energy into playing with her foster dad. Thankfully, Arya is a quick learner and has learned a lot of  things including house manners, basic obedience commands and has even learned to play with toys.  She plays with toys all by herself and can safely be left in the utility room with no problems.   Arya is a really smart girl, who is quck to learn new things.  She LOVES to play fetch and now has a new Jolly Ball. She recently learned how to catch Frisbees and can even entertain herself with toys. Arya is an affectionate pup who loves to be petted and get belly rubs. She has done wonderful for car rides and is good with grooming as well.   Arya is crate trained and potty trained.  Arya is great with other dogs, cats and also loves people of all sizes. Arya would do best with an adopter who is home more often than not and an adopter who would continue her basic training.  Arya is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations and receiving monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms.
