A very good day to you. I'm ZENN and here is a bit about me:Breed: Terrier/Corgi mixAge: 3 yearsGender: FemaleWeight: 9.5 kgsHeight: 27 cmCountry of origin: TurkeyHighlights: gentle, playful, friendly, loyal, well-mannered, loving, quiet Looking for the absolute sweetest companion you could ever wish for? You've come to the bio.My past is a mystery, but my heart tells a story of strength, grace, and unwavering love. I was brought into a local shelter—small, scared, and heavily pregnant. Despite my fragile condition, I showed nothing but gentleness and trust to every human who crossed my path.Soon after arriving, I gave birth to six beautiful puppies. Five of them, just like me, were snowy white. But among them was one tiny black pup—different, yet equally precious. One by one, the white puppies found families and left the shelter. But me and my little black baby were left behind, overlooked and waiting. For seven long months, me and my baby waited in that shelter, hoping someone would see the beauty in us both. But as time passed and the shelter grew crowded, my life was suddenly at risk. A new law in my country meant that dogs who had been waiting the longest could be killed to make space. My rescuers couldn’t let that happen, so stepped in just in time, giving me the safety and peace I had always deserved. Now, I am thriving in a loving foster home, surrounded by a garden, friendly cats, and canine companions. I am safe and healing, and finally free to enjoy the life every pup should have.I am more than a survivor—I am a symbol of resilience and unconditional love. Now, I am ready to start a new life and find my forever home. You'll find me a gentle soul, who has already lived through more than most—but you’d never guess it by the love and joy I radiate. I'm ready for a home filled with comfort, care, and a family all my own.I adore human company more than anything in the world. My favorite thing is lounging on a hammock with my person, soaking in the moment. Whether you’ve been gone for 10 minutes or all day, I will greet you at the door with pure love, excitement, and curiosity. I am the definition of heartwarming loyalty. While I know how to walk with a leash, I need some corrections yet. I may need to learn housetraining yet, as I live in the yard only at my foster's home. I know I will learn quickly. One of the most charming things about me I'm told, is my sweet table manners—I love to sit with you during meals, but never touch your food.I am playful, obedient, and incredibly well-mannered. You’ll rarely hear me bark—maybe just once or twice a week. I get along with kids, cats, and other dogs. While I can get a little excited at first, I quickly adjusts my energy to match yours. I'm just that in tune with people.Overflowing with love and certain that whoever is lucky enough to adopt me is truly hitting the jackpot. I'm not just a dog—I am a quiet joy, a soft cuddle, and a lifetime friend. Are you ready to meet your new best friend? Tap that adopt button. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper. ##2384679##
