My story

Zuko is ready to leave the past behind—and leap into your heart. This 2-year-old black-and-white cutie may have had a rough start, but you’d never guess it once he gets to know you. A little shy at first, Zuko warms up quickly and is full of playful energy and affection once he feels safe. He’s had successful playdates with other dogs, though his play style is enthusiastic—so calmer pups might find him a bit much. Zuko hasn’t lived with kids or cats, but older, respectful children could be a good fit with a meet-and-greet first. After spending his early days in a backyard, Zuko is soaking up the love, comfort, and joy of being a real companion. Now all he needs is a home to call his own—and someone to show him what family really means.
