Coco

My story

A27618 Coco is a black and tan colored, approximately 4-year-old, 60-pound, spayed female, German Shepherd mix. She entered the shelter as a stray on 05-06-2025 and was not claimed by her unknown owner. Coco is a friendly, but timid and shy girl here at the shelter. She is scared and unsure in this shelter environment and trying to figure it out. Our staff says she is sweet and friendly, saying it just takes time for her to get comfortable with you. She is still timid and shy with new people. We believe a patient owner will be rewarded with a happy, loving companion. She was easy to leash and happy to get out of the kennel. She pulls in excitement to be out exploring. She has had some training and will “sit” upon command most of the time. She has a friendly interest in other dogs and goes up to kennel doors with a happy tail wag. She has also participated in some of our play groups, so she gets along with most other dogs. Coco will be a loyal, loving companion in her new home forever.
