Meet Easu! Easu was brought into the San Diego Humane Society in December 2024 after being found by Humane Law Enforcement. He was reclaimed by his owners. Then, in April, Easu was brought in again, but this time, his owners did not reclaim him. How sad is it that this little 13-year-old isn't wanted by the only family he has known? We scooped up Easu to become a Frosted Face on May 6th. He is now safe and loved, and we are committed to finding him a home where he will be a cherished family member for the rest of his years. Might that be with you? Easu has limited vision, but he walks, eats, and sleeps well. He loves being covered with a blankie on a bed! Volunteers took Easu on a fun outing and reported that he is the sweetest and most easygoing cuddlebug ever! Easu went on Frosted Fling with a volunteer, so we could learn what he is like in a home. He loved the extra cuddles and the comfort of being in a home again. His Fling Mom reports: "Easu sleeps a lot, but not when he smells food! He has a hearty appetite and does great with his wet food. He doesn't have teeth, and his tongue adorably sticks out. Easu likes hunting for dried chicken treats and licking peanut butter off a plate or lick mat. Easu is blind, which causes him to be cautious. He doesn't need much space or exercise, but he does exploring the yard and sniffing. As soon as Easu reaches pavement, he turns back to the grass - smart boy! Easu looks to people for comfort and likes a comfy lap! He doesn't mind being carried. Since he sleeps a lot, he really loves a calming, bolster-style bed and this helps him feel secure wherever he goes. Soft blankets are also a favorite and he really likes to fluff them! Easu likes other dogs and is fine with cats, too! He doesn't mind being left in his comfy space alone for several hours. Easu likes stroller rides and just asks for occasional potty breaks. He doesn't mind riding in a sling rides if tired, but it's not his first choice. The motion of car rides makes Easu a little nervous, but if he rides in a crate with a comfy bed or sits in a backseat passenger's lap, everything is A-OK!" If you have a spot in your heart and lap for little Easu, please email placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Easu, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
