My story

Meet Lovie Bubby, a 9-pound, 6-year-old Maltipoo with a gentle soul still learning how to trust. Lovie came to CAMO Rescue as an owner surrender and has had a tough time adjusting to all the changes in his world. Undersocialized and unsure of people, Lovie has been scared and reactive since his arrival—but underneath the fear is a dog who just hasn’t learned that the world can be a safe and loving place. He’s still figuring out who he can trust, and he'll need a patient, understanding adopter who’s willing to go slow and give him space to decompress. Lovie would thrive in a quiet home with someone who will let him come out of his shell at his own pace. He’ll need help with leash walking and potty training, but with time, consistency, and kindness, we believe he has the potential to blossom into a loyal little companion. Lovie Bubby may not be ready for cuddles on day one—but for the right person, he'll be worth the wait. Adoption fee is: $200 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
