My story

Meet Hula! This sweet little crooked-faced guy was rescued from a NYC shelter after being surrendered by an overwhelmed owner with more than 10 other dogs. At 7 years young, he is making up for lost time in foster care and blossoming quickly! Hula is currently in foster in Queens with another small dog and two adults. He was initially scared on leash, but now walks confidently with a little strut in his step and has started to show us his silly and playful side. He will even grab the leash and run around like a crazy man when it's walk time! Hula weighs 9 lbs, is neutered, vaccinated and heartworm negative. He even had a dental with 13 extractions on 4/23 so his breath is fresh and ready for kisses! Like many senior pets, he has a heart murmur and mild valvular disease which requires no medication or treatment at this time.
