My story

Hi, I'm Marbles, a 6-year-old gentleman who was lovingly surrendered to HAWS because my person could no longer care for me and I needed medical attention for an upper respiratory infection (URI). I lived in a fabulous foster home as I was treated with a long-term dose of antibiotics to shake off my URI for good. The HAWS vet staff has given me a clean bill of health and I'm now living in the large cat colony room with another cat. My foster mom said I was always happy to see her and would wind around her legs and appreciate a good chin scratch from her. I like to scratch on a turbo-scratcher! I'm a mellow cat and completely content to just "be with you." I really enjoyed my foster mom's company ... snuggle buddies for sure! Since I was in quarantine at my foster home, I didn't get to meet the three resident cats "officially", although I did see them. And now I live with another cat so maybe I'd be a good addition to your home if you already have a cat? But I'm OK being an only kitty too! I have to say, I loved my guest room at my foster home but I'm really looking forward to having the run of a house again! I'm a "Foster-to-Adopt" cat which means I'm one of a few cats that you could pick to take home with you for a while before you make a final decision to make me a permanent addition to your home.
