My story

Hello, my name is Suki and I came as a transfer from another shelter so not much is known about me. What we do know is that at some point, I was shot in the leg and have some bullet fragments remaining that cause me to limp. I am currently on pain meds and antibiotics to make sure the bone isn`t infected, but I get around great! Like many dogs in NC, I am currently heartworm positive. OCAS will be helping by beginning my treatment but you`ll need to follow up with your veterinarian! During treatment I will be on an oral medication and will need to get a topical solution monthly until I have a Negative Heartworm Test. If you have any questions about this please ask to speak with a member of the medical staff.DOG DAY OUT PARTICIPANTS: Suki enjoys the company of people and likes to keep your attention only on her. Please do not interact with other dogs as she can have some choice words for them.
