My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.Stormy appreciates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. She will likely need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that she go to an adult-only home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.A volunteer writes: There's not a single cloud in sight with our Stormy. Good natured and easy going, she woke up from her nap like she overslept and had to be at work because she started nuzzling into me like it was her actual assignment. Twirling around for cuddles, Stormy's eagerness to be included allowed her to dance herself right into my heart. Stormy was brought to us with other cats and in her efforts to make the Care Center a home, however temporary it may be, lights up the room with her happy dances and spirited kneading. Stormy may not be one to wait at the tippy top front of her condo and can usually be found in one of her little cubby perches. Once I offered Stormy my hand, she rested her little kitty cheeks right into it like she'd been waiting all this time to do just that.
