My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I can go home today!I have lived with dogs in my previous home.I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.A volunteer writes: I think Cookie was trying to pretend she was part of the wall when I opened her condo door. She did a wonderful job wedging herself against it as she stared at the corner. I was almost inclined to play along even though her game of pretend kind of broke my heart, but I chose to offer her a chance to play with me instead. I held out my hand and some treats in an offer of friendship. Cookie thought for a moment before very sweetly leaning her cheeks into me. Gentle and good natured, Cookie is known to be a little unsure around new people though was a big fan of the resident dog in her previous home. Often found hanging out together, Cookie found a space to be her friendly and outgoing little self. We know she'll find that space again and hope it will be with you.
