My foster wrote: Meet Moss, the cutest little charmer you'll ever meet! This sweet boy cat is a belly-rub enthusiast who can't get enough of cuddles and affection. When he's not soaking up the love, you'll find him sniffing around, especially when his human friends are napping-he's just making sure everyone's okay! With his adorable purr and shy personality, is sure to steal your heart. What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.Moss is an adult cat that may not have had many interactions with humans from an early age. He is apprehensive of people and while showing no aggressive behaviors, he tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Please be mindful that older cats will require more time and skill in order for them to be comfortable around people, we recommend offering high value treats and food to help build a positive association to humans. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.A volunteer writes: There are a lot of sounds at the Care Center and Moss seems to be trying his best to hear every single one. Hunched in his den, Moss tries his best to make himself small and we offer treats and toys in an effort to make is day a little bit brighter, but I wish Moss could tell me what he thinks. I know he has big ideas and feelings, but also because we'd love to know what to do to make his stay at the Care Center just a little more comfortable. Moss came in with many other cats and we don't know too much about his history before, but we're so excited for his future. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 6.2 Age: 1yrs 2mths 2wks
