Lola

My story

A27515 Lola is a brown and black colored, approximately 7-year-old, 62-pound, spayed female, German Shepherd. She entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 05-02-2025 due to the fact she sadly does not have time for a pet. Lola is a friendly, sweet and easy to handle girl here at the shelter. Our staff says she is a sweet calm girl who takes treats very gently and loves all the affection you are willing to give. She was easy to leash, calm getting out of the kennel. She pulled in excitement at first, but settled into your pace after a short distance, making her well behaved during our walks. She has had some training and will “sit” and “stay” upon command. She shows no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. The previous owner says she was mostly an outside dog, so not house broken. But she has lived with other dogs, cats and children. He noted that she lived with a small dog, and they got along great. Lola will be a loyal, loving companion in her new home forever.
