Please apply online now to be considered as a potential adopter. PLEASE NOTE: All the information about this dog is in the bio. If you have not summited an application and are waiting for a response from us by email, please understand that applications are coming in every day and are being processed ahead of you. Therefore, the longer you wait for questions to be answered, the less your chances are. In addition, as home life and rescue put the needs of our rescue dogs first, we regret that we were not able to get back to you. BIO ***CLASSIC SLICK COAT ***NEUTERED***CHIPPED***FULLY VETTED ***GREAT WITH KIDS***GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS ***LEASH, HOUSE AND COMMAND TRAINED Our German shepherd rescue is extremely proud to present for adoption the one and only "Klaus "! This young man is a perfect representation of the Belgian Malinois breed, powerful, extremely intelligent, great instincts, thrives on training and of course is an absolute love sponge! Klaus is 18-20 months old, will weigh in between 70-80 pounds when grown, classic smooth coat, perfect gait, perfect symmetry, super open, extremely confident and loves playing with other dogs and of course kids! This guy is a riot to be around, loves to play, loves to hang out, is completely satisfied just being with his person or persons. During our training and socialization and training programs “Sir Klaus” revealed that he is highly motivated to bond, thoroughly enamored with training, an open and friendly demeanor, super social skills with both dogs and people, analytical skills that are off the charts and of course a strong but in control protective instinct. As the trainer for Klaus, I can tell you that he has few if any limitations, his level of performance is directly dependent on the quality of his new owners input of time, training and unconditional love.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Klaus, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
