My story

Apollo is a special pup with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Once he warms up, which usually doesn`t take long, he’s ready to engage in fun games of fetch and some absolutely adorable zoomies. His goofy, affectionate side shines through during play and cuddle time. He`s incredibly treat-motivated and eager to show off commands like sit, stay, lay down, shake, and even play dead—yes, he’ll dramatically flop over if you pretend to shoot him, then pop back up for a treat!Apollo would thrive in a calm, structured home with adults or older children who respect his space and let him come to them. He needs someone patient and consistent, who can continue his training and give him the confidence to navigate the world at his own pace. He may be happiest as the only pet or with a very calm, respectful dog friend.Learn more about our adoption process.
