My story

Winter is a stunning 2 year old husky girl who was unfortunately surrendered to the shelter at no fault of her own. She is noted to be house trained, dog friendly, and kid friendly. She walks well on the leash and knows how to sit for treats! She’s up to date on her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Come meet her in kennel 811, her ID is 9846. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
