My story

Kathmandu is not brave on first meeting. She would prefer to hide and get used to things slowly. However, once she settles into her new home, she blossoms into the purrfect kitty - a very loving, affectionate lap cat who will lay next to you in bed every night and purr you to sleep. Kathmandu and her housemate Bastet, lost their home because their Dad moved into a nursing home. Kathmandu was Dad's favorite kitty and he is heartbroken to lose her. He says that when she purrs he has never heard any cat so content before. Kathmandu loves being petted and massaged. She is an absolutely sweetheart. Because she is so shy, she needs a quiet home to feel comfortable. Although she and Bastet are friends, they are not particularly bonded and are fine to be adopted separately. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
