My story

Meet Reggie! Reggie is a gentle, quiet soul with a soft spot for other cats and a peaceful place to call home. He may not be the first to greet you, but his calm presence and sweet nature are easy to fall in love with. While he’s very shy with people and still learning to trust, he finds comfort in feline companionship and familiar routines. Reggie loves other cats and will need to go home with one of his feline friends from the shelter or to a home with a friendly, confident resident cat who can help him feel safe and supported. Reggie has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but it doesn’t bother him a bit! FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives and can safely live with other friendly cats as long as they get along. 🐱 Little health note: Reggie has tested negative for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), but he lived with a cat who has a regressive FeLV infection. This means the virus is suppressed and not actively spreading—but there is a very small chance it could still be contagious. The risk is low, especially in adult cats, but it’s something to be aware of when adopting. We’re happy to answer any questions and help you feel confident about welcoming Reggie into your home! 🐾
