My story

Hi there! My name is Chenille, and I’m a stunning black kitten with a silky coat and two adorable white spots on my tummy. I was born around February 16, 2025, and I’m being fostered with three orange tabby brothers from another mother—though we’re actually family, because their mom is my grandma! I’m playful, affectionate, and full of purrs. Whenever my foster mom walks into the room, I follow those big orange boys to the door, but she always picks me up first and tells me how beautiful I am. I love to be held until I get distracted and then I want to run and play with the boys. I especially love plastic spring toys and chasing wand toys up and down the cat tree. I’m always ready to play and explore, and I’m a pro at the litterbox. I enjoy both dry and wet food and eat at a steady pace. I’ve always had feline companionship, so I must be adopted with one of my brothers or into a home with another friendly cat. I’m especially close with my brother Charmeuse—we’re usually curled up together and have very similar gentle personalities. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving pair, we’d be a perfect match. I haven’t been around kids, but I would probably be OK with older, cat-savvy children, and I haven’t met any dogs yet. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. I’m ready to find a forever home filled with love, playtime and snuggles. My adoption fee is $150. I’m being fostered in Colorado Springs.
