CAPTIN

My story

This very good boy is Captin! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 5/1. His family was contacted and instead of coming to reclaim him they decided to surrender him. Poor Captin isn't sure why he's been abandoned by the family he loves and is now sitting in a loud, overwhelming shelter. His former family did note that Captin is house-trained, good with kids, and good with other dogs. The volunteers describe him as friendly and intelligent. He knows the following commands: sit, down, stay, and shake. Captin does have some skin issues, but with some medicated baths and a little TLC he will be looking and feeling his best in no time! If Captin sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet him today! Captin is 5 years old and weighs 83 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered and microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Captin is waiting patiently in run 801; his ID # is 9760. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
