Pico De Gallo

My story

I'm 12yr long-haired Chihuahua (mix?) who is a bit shy at first, but once I trust you, I won't want to leave your side. I have a lot to say about life and though I'm not really loud, an apartment might not be the best place for me. When someone tries to pick me up, I am nervous and will hit the floor, but once I'm up, I like to be held, cuddled and have my belly rubbed. I am potty trained, but I do have a tendency to mark, so I usually wear a belly band while in the house. My hair is a bit on the shorter side right now, but because I am a long hair ChiChi, I will need to have fairly regular grooming, to help me keep up my handsome appearance. I like to go for walks and am still active enough to jump on furniture (to find the warmest/ softest spot of course!) and generally behave like any dignified elder-gentleman should. I don't seem to know anything cool like sit or lie down, but who cares at this age anyway…I certainly don't! Did I mention I like snacks…haven't met one yet that I didn't like and it kind of shows on my waist. Because of my small size and age, I would probably do best with children 12 years old and older. I'm fine with other dogs, and will even play with dogs my size/age. Other dogs will need to be respectful of my small size and age. I have lived with cats and am generally fine, but I will talk to them and sometimes chase them..it's all in fun though, I'm not trying to hurt them. I don't play with toys, but I still like to chew on bully sticks and cow hooves. I'm searching for a home to live out my Golden Years, with someone who doesn't mind hearing my conversations and who will love me unconditionally and give me belly rubs.
