My story

Meet Riccochet! This handsome 3-year-old Lab mix is 60 pounds of heart, soul, and playful energy. Riccochet is a sweet and sensitive guy who thrives in the great outdoors—his happy place is a fenced-in yard where he can roam, sniff, and chase toys to his heart’s content. Riccochet is a gentle spirit who takes a little time to warm up, but once he feels safe, his loyal and loving personality shines. He’ll do best with someone who understands dog body language and is willing to give him the patience and space he needs to build trust at his own pace. He’s wonderful with other dogs, friendly with cats, and loves his people—but he hasn’t had experience with children, so a calm, adult household would be ideal for him. Riccochet isn’t a fan of kennels, so he’s looking for a home where he doesn’t have to be crated and can enjoy his freedom. He is assumed to be potty trained being he likes being outside 90% of the time. If you’re the kind of person who appreciates a quiet companion with a big heart and you’re ready to watch a shy pup blossom into your most loyal friend, Riccochet might just be your perfect match. Riccochet is a rescue from Louisiana where he’s spent his whole life waiting for forever.
