My story

Meet Zara – Your New Adventure Buddy! Zara is a 2–3 year old female Boxer mix with a heart as big as her smile. Don’t let the photos fool you — she’s smaller than she looks, but her personality is full-sized! This happy-go-lucky girl is always ready for fun, whether it’s a long walk, a ride in the car, or an epic game of tug-of-war (her absolute favorite!). Zara is extremely friendly and social — she wants to be everyone’s best friend. She lives in a foster home with multiple dogs of all sizes and gets along wonderfully with them, as well as with cats. She loves belly rubs, playtime, and being part of the action. She would do best in a home without dominant dogs and with older kids only, due to very mild food guarding behavior. It’s manageable (she’s currently not even separated during meals), but we want to set her and her future family up for success. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate, playful companion who’s always up for an adventure and ready to be your shadow, Zara is your girl.
