Meet Malachai! 5-Year-Old • Male • Mini Australian Shepherd • 28 lbs Calling all Aussie lovers! Malachai is a total heartthrob with movie-star looks and a personality to match. This confident, playful, and outgoing guy is full of life—and fluff! A high-energy supermodel with serious herding instincts and a passion for fetch, Malachai would thrive with an active person or family who can keep up with his zest for life. He’s the ultimate workout buddy—whether it’s running, hiking, or agility training, Malachai is ready to be your energetic sidekick. He’s whip-smart, eager to please, and learns quickly with consistent guidance and structure. That said, Malachai is a classic Aussie: he needs a job and plenty of structured, daily exercise to be his best self. Without it, he’ll let you know—he can get vocal and excited on walks, especially when the leash comes out, so he’s still working on polite leash manners. Malachai currently lives with three other high-energy dogs, but he prefers to be the center of attention. He would do best as the “one and only,” though he might do well with a single, energetic female dog who matches his drive and doesn’t mind sharing the spotlight. No cats, please. He’s good with kids, but due to his herding tendencies, a home with older children (12+) or adults only would be ideal. Malachai is looking for a home in the suburbs or countryside with a securely fenced yard and, most importantly, someone who understands the Australian Shepherd mindset: intelligent, driven, and full of heart. With the right person by his side, Malachai is ready to shine.
