My story
Honey is a seven-year-old, 45-pound dane/hound mix that was adopted out five years ago and is getting returned due to the owner’s health issues that make it hard for her to continue to care for her. Honey is calm, sweet, gentle, housetrained, and good in the house. She used to live with another dog, and we think she would be pleased to have another older buddy. She would love a fenced yard in which to sun herself. Honey is a healthy, happy dog, pretty close to perfect, and a wonderful companion dog, but not a fan of thunderstorms after a branch fell outside a window by her bed and spooked her a couple of years ago.
