Sadie

My story

Sadie is an 8 yo 16 lb. chocolate/liver female mini schnauzer who is still looking for her forever home in PA, DE, MD, VA, or DC. She is a friendly, barky, playful, active dog who loves attention and is a lapdog. Playing with her toys and fetching them is one of her favorite pastimes. She is a big fan of going for walks. She is house-trained and crate trained. She is microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. Sadie was spayed in rescue as well as having bladder stones removed. She will need to be on urinary prescription food the rest of her life to prevent the stones from reoccurring. Sadie would do best in a townhome or single family home with a fenced yard with an adopter who would take her on walks. Children should be age 10 or older. She does not get along with dogs living in the home, so should be an only dog. Sadie's adopter will be required to take her through obedience training. Rescue Schnauzers usually weigh between 15-25 pounds, they are up to date on shots, heartworm/Lyme tested and spayed/neutered prior to placement. We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the health and temperament of each dog, however we cannot make any guarantees. We are not a shelter and do not have a central facility to visit our rescue schnauzers. All dogs are kept in foster homes located throughout the area we cover. PLEASE NOTE: We rescue schnauzers in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania. We can only accept applications from these areas.
