My story

Pinky is a sweet, shy dog who needs a patient and gentle home to help her build confidence. In new environments, Pinky is timid—she trembles, sticks close, and needs encouragement to explore. While she shows little interest in toys or treats when nervous, she is tolerant of handling. Her previous owners shared, she’s crate trained and walks well on a leash. At home, she’s described as a fast learner with medium energy who enjoys a quiet, calm environment. Pinky would thrive in a low-traffic home, ideally with adults and maybe even a friendly cat companion. She’s spayed, microchipped, and ready for a fresh start with a loving family. She did not want to move forward even while the door was completely open. She let me reach in and leash her as she slowly walked out. LEASH SKILLS: Pulls minimally HANDLING : In the room, Pinky began trembling and stuck near my side with wide sacred eyes. She never moved unless I moved with her. She walked around slowly and showed no interest in treats, e or toys. She was tolerant of all handling but did not engage with me further. She showed me no knowledge to sit but she was very unsure and scared of her environment.
