Meet Obi: Your Loyal, Playful, and Loving Companion! Obi is a 2.5-year-old Standard Poodle with a heart of gold and a spirit full of energy and affection. After being surrendered due to a little sock mishap (yep, he ate one, and it needed surgery to remove!), Obi is now looking for his forever home with someone who understands his unique needs and is ready to give him the attention he deserves. What’s Obi Like?Obi is a super sweet, fun-loving guy who is all about people and other dogs. He's very social, loves to go outside for adventures, and enjoys being active. But when the day winds down, he’s all about snuggling up on the couch, ideally in your lap if you'll let him! He’s got a gentle side and is loyal to those he trusts—once he warms up to you (he’s a little shy at first), he’ll be your best friend for life. He’s smart and well-trained, knowing many commands—so you’ll find him eager to please and easy to teach. But, like any dog, he’s still got a few quirks to work on, like his excited habit of playfully mouthing when he gets really happy. Don’t worry, it’s never aggressive, but it’s something he’ll need to keep improving with some guidance. What Obi Needs:Obi would do best in a home with experienced dog owners who understand the strong, intelligent nature of the Standard Poodle. He’s not a first-time dog’s dog—he needs a family that’s ready to engage with him, provide consistent training, and include him in daily activities. He’s got a lot of energy to burn, but also a lot of love to give, and he needs a family that will meet his active lifestyle and commitment to his emotional needs. Obi is looking for a home where he can be part of the family, whether that means playing in the yard, going on walks, or just curling up on the couch at the end of the day.
