My story

WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi! I am Cosmo! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I am the most handsome boy! HOW OLD ARE YOU? I am around one year old as of the middle of 2025. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a Bully mix. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? A healthy 54 pounds. WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? My foster mom says I am very handsome with a blocky head, heart-melting eyes, adorable markings on my nose, and a shiny grey and white coat. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? If you’re offering food, I accept! I am not picky. I enjoy my tasty kibble and take treats happily and gently. WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am a certified goofball, lover of naps, walks, and maximum snuggles with my human. I will trade wags for treats. And I’ll also wag just to wag… I’m a happy guy! DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day would involve food, plenty of play time with humans or dogs, a sniff-filled walk, lots of naps in the sunshine, and cozy cuddles with my humans. Any combination of those elements, in any order, sounds like the best day ever! WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I love toys that squeak or my big red ball that I can toss around the yard. So much fun! DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I know how to sit, lay down, wait, and shake. My foster mom makes me wait before coming out of my crate. I’m getting good at it, if I do say so myself! Treats, please! WHAT SCARES YOU? Not much scares me. I’m a pretty brave boy. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? Yes, I live with a human foster brother. He’s pretty fun. I am very well-behaved when young humans give me belly rubs or head scratches. I love the attention so much! DO YOU LIKE CATS? Cats are alright. My cat foster brother mostly ignores me, which is just fine with me. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I really enjoy playing with my canine foster sister. We play chase around the yard and wrestle. It’s so much fun! IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? I am happiest when I am with my humans, wherever that may be. Anywhere that I feel wanted and loved is the best place in the world. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I am a strong and healthy boy! No issues here! WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with my foster mom, dad, and brother, plus there is another dog and a cat here too! My foster mom is my favorite because she gives me treats and takes me for pup cups. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I hang out in my crate where I am safe and cozy. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? Sometimes I sleep in bed with my foster dad, but usually I spend the night snoozing happily in my crate. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I walk really well on a leash. I trot along side my foster mom, exploring the neighborhood and enjoying lots of sniffs along the way. DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? Sometimes I get overly excited and I jump on my humans. It’s just me showing them that I love them, but I am trying to figure things out because I want to be the best boy! ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? I am such a good boy! I only potty outside. Just show me where to go and I’ll learn quickly! DO YOU LIKE WATER? Oh yes! I enjoy splashing in the water and cooling off in the doggie pool on a hot day. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? I love spending a quiet afternoon lounging with my foster mom and going on walks with her. WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? I was not living the best life, so some nice people came to save me from that place and took me to a shelter. Thankfully, they asked NorCal Bully Breed Rescue to get me out of the shelter and into a foster home so I could find out what life is supposed to be like.
