My story

WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hi there! I’m Froggy! ARE YOU A GIRL OR A BOY? I’m a boy! HOW OLD ARE YOU? I was born around Christmas of 2024. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a darling little pit bull mix. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I am 22 pounds and growing! WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I have a shiny black coat with a white chest, muzzle, and paws, and a really cute white stripe on the bridge of my nose. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? Oh, I love it ALL! Peanut butter? Yes, please! Blueberries? Oh yum! Cheese? Bring it on! But right now, I’m eating puppy kibble for my meals so I can grow up strong and healthy. WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I’m a happy, fun puppy who gets along with everyone I meet, dog or human! I am snuggly and playful, loyal and goofy. A little bit of everything fun! DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day would involve food, friends, and naps! Lots of naps, of course, since I’m a puppy and puppies sleep a lot at this stage of life. But when I’m not snoozing, I’m a little ball of fun. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I can’t say I have a favorite right now. I’m an equal opportunity toy tester. Balls, chew toys, or stuffies… all get equal love from me! DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I am working on the basics. Remember, I am just a puppy, so there is a lot for me to learn. And since I love love love food, that is a great way to teach me what you want me to do! Let’s have some fun! WHAT SCARES YOU? I have not come across anything scary yet. Everything is new and interesting at this point. I’m up for all the new experiences you want to show me! HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? DO YOU LIKE THEM? I tend to get a little excited since everything is new and fun for me right now. But if you have patience and teach me what you want me to do around children, I will make an amazing family dog. DO YOU LIKE CATS? There is one that lives in my foster home, but we are not really friends. I don’t think she likes me very much, but foster mom says she doesn’t really like anyone, so I try not to take it personally. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I live with my brother and two other dogs at my foster home. We have such a good time together. I would love to find a forever home with other dogs to play with. IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? Anywhere that my human is, followed by anywhere that there is another dog to romp around with, and finally, wherever I can get some yummy food. Put all of those things together and THAT would be the most amazing place in the world. Maybe that is with you? HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I’m a very healthy growing boy. WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with my foster mom and her son, two resident dogs, and my brother, Fischer, who is also looking for his own family. Right now, my closest companion is Fischer. We have lots of fun playing and exploring the yard together. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? My brother and I hang out in our cozy kennel together. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I am very comfortable sleeping in my kennel with Fischer. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON LEASH? I am a puppy, so I am still learning all the new things every day, and that includes how to walk on a leash. But, like everything else, I can be trained if you spend time teaching me! DO YOU HAVE ANY NOT-SO-GREAT HABITS WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? Well, since I’m a puppy, the “not-so-great” habits I have are just typical puppy stuff that I will figure out as I get older and you teach me what you want me to do instead. Life is a learning process, right? ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? I’m learning! I am figuring out the outside potty thing. It’s a process that takes time and patience, but I’ll be a pro in no time! DO YOU LIKE WATER? I LOVE water from the hose! We just got a little kiddie pool and I like to splash in it. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? I love that I have dog friends to play with, humans to snuggle with, and food to keep my belly full. I do love my foster family a lot, but I am ready for a family I can call my own! WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? I was around five weeks old when my three siblings and I were found in a box outside a fast food restaurant. Thankfully, NorCal Bully Breed Rescue took us in and made sure we were safe and cared for until our forever families come for us.
