My story

Meet Penelope, a stunning 2-year-old black and white Husky with a heart as bright as her striking coat. Weighing in at about 50 pounds, she carries herself with grace and has a playful spirit that makes her a joy to be around. Penelope is a natural social butterfly, effortlessly charming both humans and fellow dogs alike. She’s the perfect playmate—enthusiastic but always balanced, knowing just when to turn up the fun and when to give a gentle, well-timed correction to those more rambunctious pups still learning the ropes of good dog manners. Out on walks, Penelope is a dream companion. She trots along beautifully on a leash, taking in the sights with an eager but composed curiosity. Whether on an adventurous outing or a relaxed neighborhood stroll, she’s always up for time spent alongside her favorite people. Medically up to date and already spayed, Penelope is ready to step into her next chapter with a forever family. Smart, friendly, and endlessly lovable, she’ll bring warmth, companionship, and just the right touch of Husky charm to any home lucky enough to have her. How to meet dogs listed with “NY” : • If the dog is listed with an ‘Avail date” and a (location) – the dog cannot be met until the event and it is a first come, first served adoption event with the dogs being met in the order the potential adopters sign in. • If the dog the dog is listed as being in a (foster home) please email us at info@pawsafe.org and we will set up an appointment for you to meet the dog(s) that interest you at their foster home(s). **** We are sorry, but we cannot adopt to Massachusetts residents.
