My story

The application is the first step in the adoption process, so if you are interested in adopting please fill out the online adoption application  first by visiting our website at www.dachshundpaws.org    Salem is a 5 year old Chocolate dapple piebald longhair Mini Dachshund. That’s a mouthful! Salem is a sweet boy, who loves other dogs. He loves to play chase and follow the other dogs in his foster home. He finds comfort when he was confused from change of losing his home, with the other dogs, so we are looking for a home with other dogs. Salem is great with kids also. He loves to go on walks and go for rides in the car. He likes to sleep in the big bed, but will sleep in a dog bed if he must. Salem enjoys playing outside with toys and chasing bugs. Salem is all around a happy boy, looking for a wonderful family!  Salem’s adoption fee: $500  We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found.Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing. We ask the entire family to be there that day.
