Jack

My story

Jack is one of 12 dogs saved from a horrific slaughterhouse outside Wuhan, China in August 2022. These meat trade survivors were emaciated and abused when initially transferred to a facility in Beijing. However, they found themselves unexpectedly abandoned by their “rescuers” and were left stranded for years in limbo. After months of coordination and dedication from the Run 2 The Rescue team, meat trade survivors Ginger, Jackie, and Jack landed safely at JFK Airport and were transported to ARF Hamptons where they received medical care, compassionate attention, and the love they need to prepare them for adoption. Jack is a gorgeous and confident young man who is looking for a person to show him the ropes. He isn't quite sure how to be a pet, but he sure is sweet! He loves people and is eager to go for walks and to please. Due to him being unsocialized, we recommend a home with older children and prefer a home without cats. All Jack needs is someone to show him love and a little training. We have no doubt that he will be a loyal companion!
