My story
Balto is a handsome Shepherd / Anatolian Mix. He is trying to adjust and is finding shelter life to be a bit overwhelming. While he is friendly and sweet, he is very cautious. He takes his time getting to know knew people, and new environments can be scary. Due to him being a little unsure, we recommend a home with children older than eight. He gets along well with other dogs, but he does not want to live with a cat. Balto is looking for a calm, understanding and loving home that will allow him to come out of his shell at his own pace. Balto came to ARF with support from the Irving and Phyllis Milstein Foundation.
