My story

Zoozoo: A gentle and affectionate soul, Zoozoo immediately warms up to people and adores human touch. She’s quick to return your call with a sweet little meow, and at night, she’ll quietly curl up near your feet just to be close. Her loving nature makes her an instant companion. Tantan: Intelligent and observant, Tantan is quick to master complex toys and puzzles. She’s also deeply bonded with her twin sister, often acting as her quiet protector. While she may be cautious during the day—perhaps due to a difficult past—she has a tender heart that blossoms with patience and trust. Their Story: Zoozoo and Tantan were born about a year ago to a friendly stray mother who was known to interact with people in the neighborhood even before her pregnancy. Along with a third sibling, they grew up near the Sunnyvale Costco area, where they became familiar with humans—often approaching for food and play. All three kittens were TNR’d (trapped, neutered, and returned) at around 3 months old. Unfortunately, due to shelter policies and limited resources, they were deemed too old for adoption intake and were left to remain outdoors. Tragically, in mid-April, their third sibling passed away suddenly with symptoms of foaming at the mouth. This loss deeply concerned our neighborhood, and we knew the remaining two deserved a safe, stable home. Wanting to give them a better chance, I (Lucy Lin) stepped in to foster them until the end of my lease—roughly three months. Why They Need a Home Zoozoo and Tantan have grown up around people and genuinely seek human connection. While they’ve never had a permanent home, their bond with humans is strong, and they crave attention, safety, and love. It’s time they find a forever family who can provide them with the care and stability they’ve never had. It would be ideal for someone with prior cat-sitting or caregiving experience to adopt both Zoozoo and Tantan together. Tantan deeply relies on her sister for emotional support — Zoozoo helps her feel safe and secure in new environments. Tantan may hiss or shy away from touch when she feels uncertain, especially during the first few weeks in a new home. A calm and respectful environment is best, and they would do well in a household with children aged 10 and up who understand how to respect a cat’s boundaries. That said, they are low-maintenance as long as they have each other. Their bond brings them comfort, making them independent and content companions. Tantan & Zoozoo are currently living in Mountain View, CA 94040 Please note: Tantan & Zoozoo should be adopted with a littermateMore information & application [ts=1747494179&src=aap]
