My story

Kai is a 1.5 year old male pit bull looking for his forever family. Kai is being rehomed by a family who has been vetted by Make A Stand Bully Rescue as a part of our community posting program. Kai is a BIG boy, with a heart of gold and a noggin just as big and strong. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and generally healthy (albeit, he is working on losing a few pounds!). Kai is currently in a home with men, women, toddlers, and other dogs; and while he means well and is very friendly, his size often results in kids (and senior pets) getting knocked over. Kai would benefit from ongoing training and obedience; and would likely love an active home and environment. He would be fine in a home with other dogs and children, but given his size and strength, he would likely do better in a home with older children and sturdy dogs (we would discourage placing him in a home with small and/or older pets).
