Please contact us to learn more.* Meet Pony – your tall, fun, and handsome best friend! Pony is a stunning shepherd/husky mix with icy blue eyes that could stop traffic and adorably crooked floppy ears that will melt your heart. Tall, sleek, and charming, this boy is a head-turner in every way. While Pony is perfectly content lounging on the couch all day, he has his moments of absolute goofy brilliance. At any given time, he might transform into a playful puppy, writhing around upside down like a boneless contortionist, just for laughs. He’s the kind of dog who keeps life entertaining! Pony is kennel trained, housebroken, and treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze. He LOVES kissy noises and is a total fetch fanatic—those two things might just be the keys to his heart. Pony needs additional work on leash skills, taking treats gently, and learning that the front door is not his personal portal to freedom. Due to his eager to please attitude, some continued training will go a long way. If you’re looking for a cuddle bug with a hilarious wild side and a face you’ll never get tired of staring at, Pony is your perfect match! *Pony is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment with one of our vet clinics in Mead, CO. Pony's specific treatment type is straightforward, easy, and financially covered by Bounce. Contact us to learn more!* Pony is a 1.5-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Pony is tested with other dogs, kids, and is kennel and potty trained. He has not been tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
