My story

Meet Klondike, a beautiful 1-year-old domestic short hair with a truly unique tortoiseshell coat and gorgeous golden eyes. This sweet girl is a testament to resilience, ready to find a quiet and patient home where she can truly blossom into the confident cat she`s meant to be.Klondike arrived at FVHA as a scared, undersocialized kitten after being found as a stray. With the dedicated help of our staff and amazing fosters, Klondike has begun to learn that not all humans are scary. However, she still has a ways to go in her journey of trust. She is currently back in the shelter environment, which can be stressful for her, and she is patiently waiting and hoping for a calm, cat-savvy adopter to see her incredible potential!Klondike`s initial shyness means she needs an understanding approach. While she`s made progress, the hustle and bustle of the shelter is no fun for her. She longs for a peaceful environment where she can slowly build confidence. A gentle, consistent approach and a calm demeanor will be key to helping her feel safe and loved.Klondike might do well with feline friends after some slow introductions and enough time to adjust. She will absolutely need a quiet, patient home to allow her the space and time she needs to settle in and feel secure. A calm household without too much commotion will be ideal for her continued progress.Klondike is in excellent health! She`s spayed, up to date on core vaccinations, has been dewormed, is flea free, and is microchipped. She`s ready to embark on a new chapter with a loving family who understands her need for a gentle approach. If you have any questions about Klondike or our adoption process, please contact us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org and book an appointment online to meet with her today!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Klondike, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
