My story

Hi, I’m Ernestine! I’m a 3-month-old German Malinois puppy, and I already weigh 17 pounds! I might be small now, but I’m growing fast — and so is my brain. Raising a pup like me takes commitment, structure, and a solid understanding of what it means to live with a working breed. We Malinois are known for being intelligent, energetic, and sensitive. We thrive in homes that keep us busy — not just with playtime, but with learning, exploring, and bonding with our people. I love other dogs right now and enjoy romping and wrestling with my friends — playtime is the best! But my rescue wants to make sure I find the right kind of home — one with people who understand my breed and are ready to put in the time, love, and training I need to grow up into the amazing dog I’m meant to be. With the right guidance, I’ll be loyal, well-behaved, and a devoted companion for life.
