My story

Hi there — I’m Sadie 💖 I may not have had the best start, but I’m holding out hope that the best is yet to come. You see, when my previous family moved away, they left me behind. I don’t know why — and yeah, it hurt — but I haven’t let it stop me from being the sweet, loving girl I was born to be. At first, I might seem a little shy or unsure. I’ve been through a lot, so I need a moment to feel safe. But once I know you’re kind? I’ll be your shadow, your sidekick, your forever best friend. I’m what they call a Velcro dog — I bond hard and I bond fast, and I’ll stick close through thick and thin. I’m playful, goofy, and full of life! Whether it’s a walk, a run, or a hike, I’m totally in. I’d love an active home that can keep up with my energy and give me lots of time to play, explore, and just be a dog. And after a good adventure? I’m all about snuggles and cozy couch time. I’m super food-motivated (treats = trust!), smart, and a quick learner — which means I’m totally ready to shine with a little training. I do great at the vet, and I’ve been told I’m an “attention hog,” but can you blame me? I’ve got a lot of love to give, and I’m making up for lost time. I shed a little, love a lot, and I’m just waiting for the right person to show me that not everyone leaves. If you’re kind, patient, and looking for a loyal, cuddly, fun-loving pup, I might be your girl.
