She’s now living in a visiting room at the shelter where she’s calm, clean, quiet, and clearly happiest when things are low-key. She takes a little time to warm up to new people and places. She prefers slow introductions and gentle handling, and she appreciates when people respect her space. Once she feels safe, she becomes more affectionate and even snuggly in her own way. With the right match, her circle of trust will grow.Unity would love a quiet, steady home with adults or respectful older teens who understand that not every dog is ready for hugs on day one.
