My story

  Albert - Male DOB 2/17/2022 Domestic Short Hair - Brown Tabby Albert is a large, lovable boy with a lot of heart. His early life wasn’t easy—he was kept in a cage for years in a home without even a proper litter box, forced to use toilet paper instead. But since coming into our care, he’s made great strides. He now loves to be petted and looks at you with love in those large golden eyes. With the help of a patient foster, he learned how to use a litter box and now does just fine with the clay litter, as long as the box has high sides. Albert is still a little shy, but he enjoys gentle pets and will lean into face rubs when he feels safe. He seems fine around other calm, well-mannered cats, and would be fine with a laid-back feline friend, but he’d also do just fine on his own. He’s not suited for homes with dogs or small children, but he’s ready to find a home where he’ll be treated with kindness and given plenty of time to relax. A soft bed, some sunny windows, and a person who understands what he’s been through would mean the world to him.
