My story

Meet Sparky – A Shy Guy with a Playful Heart Sparky is a 5–6-year-old shorthaired orange tabby with a gentle soul and a playful streak. Rescued from a hoarding situation, this handsome boy is still learning to trust — but with a little patience, you’ll get to see his true personality shine. At first, Sparky can be shy and reserved. He’ll need time and a calm environment to feel safe. But once you’ve earned his trust, he loves being brushed, goes wild for feather wand toys, and will even take treats right from your hand. Sparky gets along wonderfully with other cats and dogs, and would do best in a home with older, respectful children who understand how to give him space as he adjusts. He would thrive in a home that values patience, playtime, and soft, quiet companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion who just needs a little time to come out of his shell, Sparky may be your perfect match.
