My story

Mavie – Small Dog, Big Personality! Meet Mavie (short for Maverick) — 8 pounds of pure spunk wrapped in a compact, cuddly package! With his soft brown coat and a fluffy tail kissed with black, Mavie is as handsome as he is entertaining. Around 3 years old, Mavie is the perfect mix of playful and loyal. He loves to chase a ball, bask in the sunshine, and shower you with face kisses. He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s your ride-or-die cuddle buddy — expect him to follow you everywhere! He’s good with cats and can be a bit bossy with other small dogs (he knows he’s a big deal). While he hasn’t met kids in our care, we think he’d do just fine with calm, respectful ones. Mavie came in with his buddy Scooter but says he’s ready to fly solo — he’d prefer a home without his former wingman.
