My story

What can I say about Lacy? Well, she is a big surprise in a little body! Lacy is a 2 year old, 7lb Merle Chihuahua. Lacy is going to need a family that comes with patience; not a whole lot, but just a little. She came to us scared, barely leaving her wide open crate. It took her 8 days, and a little furry friend to get her out of her shell, but once she was out, she’s doing well. She is the bravest little girl I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. She will need another dog her size in a home as a playmate. She loves romping around in the yard, and needs to go out frequently to continue her potty training. She uses potty pads if we aren’t on top of taking her outside to handle her business. She sleeps in her crate, but will find her way into your bed here and there. Lacy will make a fantastic companion and addition to most any family. She is young, so she is adaptable in the right hands. We can’t wait for her to find her forever home! No big dogs, small children, swimming pools unless completely fenced off or doggie door due to her size. Adoption fee is: $500.00 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
