My story

Star …our little miracle. (Citrus Heights, CA) At just 7 months old and 7.5 lbs, Star has already survived more than most cats ever will. When she came in for a routine spay, our vet discovered something shocking. Star had pyometra, a life-threatening infection of the uterus that is extremely rare in cats her age. Without that surgery, we never would have known. Spaying saved her life. Now healed and healthy, Star is ready for the next chapter. She gets along wonderfully with other cats, adores humans, and spends her days dreaming of a home to call her own. But despite her sweet nature and incredible story, Star hasn’t received a single inquiry or donation. Not one. Please help us change that. Share her story. Donate if you can.
