My story

Introducing Washington! He was brought to the shelter on 5/13 because he got lost on a journey to find his way home. Washington is only 2 years old and weighs a mere 40lbs. The volunteers describe him as sweet, cute, and a bit shy and scared. That's understandable because he is in a place that is not home. The volunteers have been working with him so he can come out of his shell more. He is also a smart cookie because he can sit when asked and he may know more. He stays very quiet in his kennel as he patiently waits for his second chance at a forever home. He is adorable! Who wouldn't want to wake up to this precious face? Please take some time and visit with him in Run 46; his ID is 9957. He is waiting for you! Please help him find his way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Washington is current on vaccines and tested negative for heartworms; he will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know him a little better. Washington is probably what you have been looking for all this time. He is patiently waiting for his forever family to save his life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
