My story

Moon is a 5.5 month old Shepherd mix who just happens to have 3 legs. In person she doesn't look very Staffie/Pitty; her nose is long and narrow like a Shepherd but something in her pics makes her look Staffie so we are including that in her breed composition. We love the sparkle in Moon's eyes—this little girl has already overcome more than most puppies will in a lifetime. When she came into our care, we quickly rushed her to the emergency vet, only to learn her leg had been broken for quite some time. She hadn’t been putting any weight on it, and the best course of action was amputation. It would give her the freedom and comfort she deserves. But here’s the amazing part Moon doesn’t let it slow her down one bit. She’s already adapted like a champ! This happy, wiggly, tail-wagging pup is full of joy, curiosity, and a playful spirit that shines through every minute of the day. This beautiful pup loves canines and humans alike and also considers cats her friend! Check out the pics on her napping with her favoritie feline.
