What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy!Not only do I pull at heart strings, but I also pull on leash! I will need someone to help me with my leash manners.I will need appropriate toys and positive outlets for my energy.On my #BoroughBreak, we... Went for a walk in the park where Base was admired by many many people and made lots of friends, after which is began raining so we came back inside to my apartment and cuddled on the couch and ate some treats! Base is a cuddle bug and a perfect gentleman!My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: When we first picked up Base the first thing we thought was this dog is gorgeous! He smaller than he seems and has the most handsome face. We left the shelter and walked down to the park! He walked nicely beside us stopped every now and then to give us a smile and some kisses. Base got so many compliments on our walk with people stopping to tell us what a cute dog we had! We stopped at bench and he hopped on next top us gave us lots of wiggly tail wags some kisses and took treats very sweetly! Then it began to rain to we hurried into my apartment. He was so polite! Went straight to the dog bed and cuddled up. You can tell this dog just wants love and a home. We invited him onto the couch and again he politely climbed on and cuddles us while we watched a movie. He then rode back in the car to the shelter like an angel! He was such an amazing house guest we were heart broken to drop him back off and wish we could've kept him. Base is so so sweet and cuddly and we can't believe nobody's nabbed him up yet!On my #BoroughBreak, we... went for a long walk in the park! Base loved to run around and explore with us. At first he was very energetic and we stopped frequently to give him lots of pets. After our walk we had a little picnic and Base enjoyed rolling in the grass and laid down to cuddle with us. Then we brought him to a cafe and he sat very calmly and nicely at the table outside with us while we ate lunch. We also introduced him to two of our friends who joined us and he greeted them very lovingly and without any stress. He is such a gentle giant and takes treats very carefully. We enjoyed our time with him so much and were so sad to say goodbye.3 words to describe the dog are... Sweet, energetic, cuddlyAdditional Notes He got very excited when seeing other dogs but did not bark or show aggressive behavior, just interest. He walks well on the leash for the most part but can be hard to redirect at times if there are other dogs involved. He doesn't care very much for treats but will take them very gently when offered.
